The last time Don had fished Truman Lake was back in 1989! Don came to the scales the first day with 2 fish weighing 5-50 Lbs, putting him in 8th place. A very determined Mr. McFetridge went right back out to his spot the second day scratching out the only limit on day two weighing 11-93 Lbs, for a two day total of 17-43 Lbs. Don had a good idea on where to start, after catching some nice fish on Thursday and Friday. With changes in the weather on the way, he made a few adjustments in color of lure he was using and started fishing a little shallower. One by one he filled the livewell on day two, culling four fish on his way to the top. Don caught all of his fish on chart/purple colored Bandit crankbaits 1-8 feet of water up the Big Pomme Arm. Don is 42 years old and is a labor for Spiegelglass Const. Co.
