Fishing was great earlier in the week, the rivers was in good shape and most of the creeks were clear, then on Thursday a heavy rain storm, dropped over an inch and a half of water, making the river muddy and raising but 44 fishermen went out hopping to catch fish and 8 boats weighed in 11 fish. Taking 1st place winners Gary Koenig and Terry Mast, from Ursa and Quincy, IL, weighed in 3 fish for 6-70 Lbs winning $1,430.00, including Gary’s $250.00 in Ranger Boat Bonus Money and Terry’s $200.00 for first big bass with a 3-77 Lb bass.
