Due to flooding of pool 24, we moved the tournament to the re-regulation pool at Cincinnati Boat Ramp. 1st place winners Chris and Tim Randell, from St Charles, MO, weighed in 5 fish for 14-54 Lbs winning $900.00 including Chris $150.00 in big bass money with his 5-99 Lb bass. They fished shad colored crankbaits and black/blue jigs in rocks and brush in shallow water. Chris is 47 and an electrician. Tim is 19 and a college student. BassCat, Mercury, Dupo Marine and Strike King sponsor them. 2nd place winners Ed Kyle and Larry Moss, from Wentzville and Moscow Mills, MO, weighed in 3 fish for 11-08 Lbs winning $685.00.00, including Larry’s $75.00 in second big bass money with a 4-81 Lb bass and Larry’s $250.00 in Ranger Cup Bonus Money, using E-Factor black/blue flippin laydowns and brushes in shallow water. Ed is 58 and is state of Mo investigator. Larry is 60 and is a carpenter. 3rd place winners Steve and Tom Hoots, from Winchester, IL, weighed in 5 fish for 10-63 Lbs winning $240.00, using chart spinnerbaits, fishing riprap around the dam area in 3 feet of water. Ethan is 26 and is a wrestling coach at University of Wyoming. 2nd place winners Gary Koenig and Terry Mast, from Ursa and Quincy, IL, weighed in 5 fish for 9-91 Lbs winning $690.00, including Gary’s $250.00 in Ranger Cup Bonus Money, using brown/orange Gene Larew salt craws, fishing in creeks in the lower pool area in 2-4 feet of water.
