They found their fish hitting blue fleck power worms in 7-10 feet of water around mid lake area. Greg is 47 and is a mechanic. Jim is 55 and is a carpenter. 3rd place winners Chuck Ditto and Jim Pounds, from Shelbyville and Decatur, IL, weighed in 3 fish for 5-72 Lbs, winning $144.00. They fished red Zoom worms in about 6 feet of water around the north area of the lake. Chuck is 42 and is a resort owner. Jim is 59 and is a plant manager. Josh caught his fish on a red shad worm in about 5 feet of water around the south end of the lake. Josh is 25 and is a carpenter. 11 boats weighed in 21 fish for 42-87 Lbs. 0-5 fish limits. They fished brown colored Zoom, lizards and brush hogs in 10-20 feet of water around the south end of the lake. Jim is 50 and is in construction. Craig is 45 and is in sales. 3rd place winners Dan McDowell and Eric Ballinger, from Mattoon and Neoga, IL, fished brown Driskell jigs and crankbaits, on wood cover points in 6 feet of water. They weighed in 5 fish for 8-89 Lbs winning $160.00. Dan is 38 and is a plumber. Eric is 35 and is an auto body tech. They caught their fish on brown brush hogs in 18-20 feet of water on mid to south area of the lake. Jim is 50. Catching their fish on watermelon colored Zoom lizards, on main lake points in about 8-15 feet of water. Greg is 36 and is in sales. Paul is 36 and works for the Union Pacific Railroad. Mike Blazier and Steven Durbin won 3rd place with 5 fish for 12-47 Lbs winning $160.00. They fished carolina-rigged red shad Zoom brush hogs and tubes in about 5-10 feet of water around the south end of the lake. Mike is 44 and is a supervisor for Pepsi. Steve is 48 and is a gas tech for Ameren. Craig Drone, from Taylorville, IL, won second big bass with a 4-25 Lb bass winning $100.00. 16 boats weighed in 68 fish for 150-86 Lbs. 10-5 fish limits. The caught their fish on green colored Zoom lizards, fishing rocky points around the 6 mile marker area, in 6-12 feet of water. Eric is 34 and is a business owner. Lift Truck Systems sponsor them. 3rd place winners Gary Lambes Jr and Doug Regnier, from Sandwich and Hinckley, IL fished Texas shad colored Norman crankbaits, on main lake points from the 1-5 mile marker area, in about 18 feet of water. They weighed in 2 fish for 8-85 Lbs winning $260.00, including Gary’s 5-19 Lb bass second largest bass of the tournament. Gary is 38 and is a business owner. Doug is 30 and is an account executive.
