River still flooding in bad shape, but 10 showed up and we held the tournament out of Alton Marina Boat Ramp. 1st place winners Mike Augustine and Gary Denney, from Livingston, IL, weighed in 5 fish for 8-85 Lbs winning $700.00, including Mike’s $100.00 in big bass money for his 3-41 Lb bass. Mike is 48 and is general manager. Gary is 59 and retired. 2nd place winners Monty Cordray and Scott Struense, from Pevely, MO and Millstadt, IL, weighed in 5 fish for 8-41 Lbs winning $450.00, including Scott’s $50.00 for second big bass with a 3-26 Lb bass, using white spinnerbaits and black/chart salt craws in 2-5 feet of water.
