weather was great, but fishing was slow, only 15 boats weighed 47 fish. Most of
the fishermen told me once they found fish they stayed in that area. 1st place
winners Mike Malone and Tim Jefferies, from Lake Ozark, MO, weighed in 5 fish
for 19-58 Lbs winning $1,512.00, including Tim’s $405.00 in big bass money for
his 5-35 and 5-12 Lb big bass’s. Catching fish on shad/chart jerkbaits around
the dam area in 10-20 feet of water. They caught 9 fish and culled 4 other
fish. Mike is 54 and in sales. Tim is 28 and is manager of Hy-Vee Market in
Osage Beach. War Eagle, Omega Custom Tackle, Bass Cat and Mercury sponsor
them. 2nd place winners Marcus Sykora and Bill Davenport, from Osage Beach and
Waynesville, MO, weighed in 5 fish for 17-25 Lbs winning $567.00. They fished
aurora/black jerkbaits and peanut butter colored jigs, on points in 5-9 feet of
water. Marcus is 31 and is a State Farm Agent. Bill is 63 and is retired.

Mike Foree and Lonnie McKinney, from Osage Beach and Lake Ozark, MO, won $547.00
along with Mike’s $250.00 in Ranger Cup Bonus Money. They fished blue jerkbaits
also around the dam area in 8-20 feet of water, weighing in 5 fish for 16-44
Lbs. Mike is 60 and is a car salesman. Lonnie is 47 and owns a Pest Control
